Date           March 20, 1994
Status and Occurrence A rather uncommon but widespread inhabitant of forest, mostly at higher elevations, on both islands, being seen usually at a high perch or just above the canopy.  Possibly resident in Trinidad, but breeding not recorded.  Ranges from Mexico south to Peru, Bolivia and south Brazil
