How to Monitor the Animal Species or Wildlife

In an ecosystem, there are different living organisms that exist such as small organisms, plants, and animal species. These living organisms live in various areas and there is an interaction between them. They play different roles in an ecosystem. The ecosystem needs a balance of everything in order to maintain it. So, any factor or threat to the ecosystem brings harm or danger to these living organisms.

We, humans, need to care about these living organisms not to bring harm to them. Of course it’s a given fact that we feed on plants and animals. However, we must not allow them to become totally extinct. In other words, these organisms need to be preserved. Our ecosystem gives us a lot of benefits. It is our source of basic needs such as food, water, and other natural resources.

In order to care for these living organisms or known as wildlife, a careful monitoring is needed. How? Thanks to the development of high technology, monitoring became easy and convenient.

Camera is a great tool used in monitoring the wildlife. In a specific area where wildlife exists, it is very important to check on them regularly. In the past, we didn’t care much about the wildlife weather they still exist or not. For example, wildlife such as the hippopotamus, wild boar, cheetah, rhinoceros, Pyrenian Ibex, passenger pigeon, quagga, Carribean Monk Seal, sea mink, tigers, Bubal Hartebeest, crocodiles, etc. are becoming totally extinct.

How? It’s all because of us. It was our fault. Their existence in an ecosystem brings balance to our nature. Let’s continue to monitor on them.

The Importance of Protecting Endangered Animals

Not all of us care much about animals. Only few people might be aware about the existence of wild animals. Do you even know what wild animals exist today and those that no longer exist because they became totally extinct? What about the endangered animals? It is a matter of great importance to know about these living organisms. All of us must not only focus on how to feed our stomach. Do you know how many edible animals are being slaughtered everyday? You will surely be surprised!

Have you ever thought to yourself this question, “what if these animals were gone?” or “who will protect these animals?” Even if we are not interested about the wildlife, we need to think of how we can protect them and support the preservation of different species.

One of the most endangered wild animal is the rhinoceros. In fact, only around 28,000 of these exist in the world today. What do you think are the main reasons that they became endangered animals? It’s all because of us!

The poaching and the illegal trade of the rhinoceros horn leads to the future extinction of this wild animal. Various products from endangered species are found everywhere around the world. They are not only being slaughtered or killed for food. Products such as belt, shoes, coats (winter coats, leather coat), bags, etc. came from the different wild animals. Because of this, it’s quite difficult to support the preservation of these wild animals.

Humans have a nature of being selfish, thinking only about ourselves and ways on how to survive on this earth.
